Choose Your (Un)dignified

Context:

I will become even more undignified than this, and I will be humiliated in my own eyes...

I Samuel 6:22

"I will not become even more undignified that that. No, not intentionally. Neither will I be humiliated in my own eyes. The Lord didn't make me to tear me down for a joke. I don't get the point. Either have no (intrinsic) self-worth or self-value. Why would I ever, now?"

Versions:

I will dance, I will sing,
Sensibly for my King,
The work of God is better directing the passion in my soul,
And I'll remain perfectly dignified like this,
It really doesn't concern me what anyone may think,
And I'll remain perfectly dignified like this.

I will dance, I will sing,
Sensibly for my King,
The work of God is better directing the passion in my soul,
And I'll remain perfectly dignified like this,
Call it a dose of God-given self worth,
And I'll remain perfectly dignified like this.

I might dance, I might sing,
I might seem glad for my King,
I don't have to bust a move when I am joyous in the Lord,
But I'll remain perfectly dignified like this,
It's not about mode, It's about heart and soul,
But I'll remain perfectly dignified like this

I may not dance, I may not sing,
But I'll surely have joy for my King,
I may not jump, scream and shout, for that matter, for my Lord.
And I'll be sure to maintain my dignity like
I was made and won't act like no throwaway
And I'll be sure to maintain my dignity like that

Must I dance? Must I sing? When I am glad for my King?
He knows better than for me to do it for the sole sake of going so far
But I know I'm a child of God, regardless
If I have two left feet or if I can't move for nuts
But I know I'm a child of God, regardless

Do I have to dance? Do I have to sing?
Is God such a narcissistic King?
Do I really have to do go ALL the way?
But I don't have really have a point to make
If it just don't flow, there's nothing to show
No, I don't have any point to make at all?
